My name is Zac Charles, and I am pursuing a career in music. My goal is to be a successful recording artist. Currently, I just returned from Afghanistan as a Combat Medic with the 1-6 Field Artillery Battalion. While I’ve always had a passion and gift for music, I’ve found a renewed spirit in helping fellow soldiers and their families through music. In July 2011, a Facebook page was launched titled, “Support US Army Medic Zac Charles” which caused my fan base to skyrocket, and my YouTube hits tripled. My number one hit “Until I Get Home,” has touched the lives of soldiers, families, and veterans. The lyrics speak to the struggles within a soldier’s heart of missing family and completing their duty. “Until I Get Home” already has over 104,000 hits on YouTube. My YouTube Music page (ZacCharlesMusic) contains some of my original songs, and also cover songs by my favorite artists.
